Next Level Leadership: Building a Leadership Culture
Facilitators: Bill Cox and Michael B. Ross
Date | Time | Location: Friday, October 9th | 8:30 AM – 12 PM | University of Pittsburgh at Bradford (University Room, Frame-Westerberg Commons, Pitt-Bradford, 300 Campus Drive, Bradford, PA, 16701)
Culture is not created by policies, mission statements, or motivational posters. Culture is created by leaders.
Every day, leaders influence the way people think, behave, and communicate. Whether intentional or unintentional, leadership shapes the environment people experience at work— and ultimately determines the performance, engagement, and success of the organization. Next Level Leadership: Building a Leadership Culture is an interactive, half-day leadership development experience designed to help leaders become more intentional in the way they lead, communicate, and influence others. Through practical teaching, group discussion, self-reflection, and hands-on application, participants will learn how to create cultures built on trust, accountability, purpose, feedback, and resilience.
Participants will leave with practical tools they can immediately apply to strengthen their teams, improve workplace culture, and increase their leadership effectiveness.
Registration Fee: $49 per participant | 48-Hour Cancellation Policy | Prepayment Required by Wednesday, October 7th at 5:00 PM
This session will include light breakfast items and coffee!

Agenda
8:00-8:30 AM | Check In
8:30 AM | Session 1: Bring the Right Energy
Leadership begins before a word is ever spoken. The energy, attitude, and presence a leader brings into a room directly impacts the people around them. In this session, participants will explore how personal mindset, emotional intelligence, and non-verbal communication influence team morale, engagement, and performance. Participants will learn: how energy impacts culture, the connection between attitude and influence, how to become more intentional about leadership presence, and practical ways to create positive momentum within a team.
10:15 AM | Session 2: Be the Change You Want to See
The culture you desire begins with the leadership you provide. Great leaders do not wait for others to change—they model the behaviors they want to see. This session helps participants identify opportunities for personal growth while developing practical skills for empathy, active listening, and positive influence. Participants will learn: why culture starts with self-leadership, how empathy improves trust and engagement, practical listening techniques that strengthen relationships, and a framework for identifying behaviors to Stop, Start, and Strengthen.
